Hemorrhoids can be very disturbing and can disrupt your life to the point of utter irritation. If that doesn’t work, your doctor can perform rubber band ligation. In this procedure, two small rubber bands are placed at the base of your hemorrhoids, effectively cutting off blood supply and “killing” the tissue that consist your hemorrhoid. There will be pain involve and a bit of bleeding but this procedure is effective with very low recurrence rate.

If that still doesn’t work then you can opt for more invasive procedures like hemorrhoidectomy that completely removes the excess tissue through surgery. Hemorrhoid treatments will vary from one case to the next. Needless to say, eradication of the hemorrhoid must be the sole aim, not just pan alleviation and bleeding control.
